So, recently a fellow book blogger told me about The Book Depository. I had NO IDEA this company even exsisted, nevermind the FREE shipping. HELLO! How much MONEY have I wasted with other online book companies??? ANYway, clicking around there I found this cool feature on their site. You can follow a world map and watch people buying books LIVE. It is one of the neatest things E-V-E-R.

Yes! I love The Book Depository! That company has already taken plenty of my money, haha. Plus, you can't beat the free shipping OR the half-off (select) hardcover books.

Book Depository is great! I just bought a few books from them last month. I didn't know about this feature though. It is super cool!
i KNOW!!!!! i just about died when i found it, and actually, i accidentally ordered 15 books the first time i was checking it out. i was comparing prices with amazon.com and thought i would get one more confirmation page before finalising my sale. not the case!! my hubby didn't believe me that it was an accident but it's true, i didn't do it on purpose! oh well, it was a happy mistake :-) i mostly shop on the .co.uk rather than the .com as there is a bigger range of the same titles and can usually get a book a few dollars cheaper, which adds up when shopping for books like i do.....
This is fairly new to me too, so happy you can get UK covers too!
I found it yesterday and thought that part was cool also. I'm in Bermuda and was way excited to see my chosen book for free shipping. WOWSA

Mel: I know, I wondered if the versions of the North American books would be the same? But I think in some cases you would get the British version of the cover? I wonder if that is also including some of the content? Maybe someone with more experience with TBD could tell me, gee, I wonder who has bought a lot of books from there.... Mammazappa(cough cough!) LOL!
