Somebody stop me...

So, every Tuesday my 9 year old daughter goes to piano lessons.  It takes awhile.  So instead of trying to entertain my 2 year old daughter in the car, I usually take her to Chapters.  Here's the thing.

I have a lot of books.

I really have no business buying anymore books at the moment.

But this is what I found in my hand when I got back to my car.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

You cannot believe how many times that has happened to me! Sometimes it even happens to me in places that are not bookstores--Target, Costco...

lol! I'd say 'stop, turn around, and take it back' but I really want to know what you think of this book so I'll just keep my mouth shut. :)
I guess I'm no help.

LOL - my husband can be very grateful that I don't drive...or else he'd been finding all kinds of things the just "showed up" in the car!

I happens to the best of us. Sometimes the car cannot avoid the book store parking lot, and then once you are there, you MUST go in )you wasted gas getting there), and how can you walk out without buying something (they'll think you a shop-lifter) right??? LOL

Yeah, I keep telling myself that I can read it for my challenge, thaaaat's why i bought it! :)

I do not have GPS or any type of futuristic car that is programmable, but my I do seem to end up at bookstores 1 or 2 times per week. It's when I start to blank out and not remember how I got there that I'll start to be concerned, lol.

Funny enough, I just got The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo AND The Girl Who Played With Fire in the mail from Chapters last night. I can't wait to read them (check out my Waiting On Wednesday)

I hear ya! I'm always buying books and I really don't need them, I just want them - it's an addiction. That's what we have to deal with, us book lovers - it's hard being us! Maybe we should start up a Books Anonymous :)

I think it's almost physically impossible to walk into a book store and NOT leave with something in your hands!

My boyfriend always says I shouldn't buy anymore books until I finish the ones I have...it never works, no matter how hard I try :) My excuse is always, "But I had a coupon!" haha

OMG I just bought this one too! Can't wait to read what you think of it. :-)

So far I really like it! Really easy to get into. I am going to dedicate more of my reading time to it!! Can't wait to hear what you think of it too, April!!

I'm so with ya! I have started hiding the books from my husband. No shopping bags can be seen...they go straight to the bookshelf and all the evidence is taken care of. I plead the 5th if he notices...so far I'm in the clear....
