MAILBOX MONDAY is a weekly meme hosted by Marcia over at The Printed Page.
Last week I recieved a book called "Hemingway Deadlights" by Michael Atkinson from Dana at Kaye Publishing... THANK YOU, DANA!!
Here is the blurb from Amazon.ca:
It is 1956 and Hemingway has spent much of the year at his home in Key West, hiding from tourists and autograph hunters. But a friend’s sudden death rouses Papa from his idyll. To say that the cause of death is suspicious is to put it lightly. It’s not every day that a part-time smuggler is impaled on a harpoon. A witty, literate, and action-filled debut, Hemingway Deadlights catches the famed author in his later years, battling to solve the injustices in a flawed world.

Sounds like an interesting book and it is totally new to me! Enjoy.
Sounds like a different kind of book, I hope you like it! My mailbox is at The Crowded Leaf.
I know, right? Totally different. I didn't know you could take an actual historical person and use him/her as a character in a completely fictionalized book! I can't get at this one until the end of the month, but I am veerry curious!
Ooh this book looks good! Enjoy it!
