At least Nora acknowledged the fact that he was dangerous. :)

However, I have to say that I can understand why you felt the way you did about the book. The things you mentioned were things that bothered me as well. However, probably not to the extent that they bothered you.

Thanks for dropping by my blog and for your comment!Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10480712973194174171noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432990419928089943.post-58249096418001543722009-10-30T11:50:16.663-07:002009-10-30T11:50:16.663-07:00Under a spell? I had such high hopes ...I am in agreement with you. I had such high hopes but came away from the book disappointed. I have a teen daughter and would hope that she would RUN from someone like Patch. I didn't find him a "bad boy" but too creepy. And don't get me started on Vee. I have ran across a few reviews and interviews with the author that suggested she was under a spell and that was the reason for her reactions, or lack of reactions. I did not get that at all. Great, honest review!christine (booktumbling)http://booktumbling.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432990419928089943.post-77118434404795601772009-10-28T21:48:32.967-07:002009-10-28T21:48:32.967-07:00Thanks for your honest review. I really didn't like him in the beginning of the book and I was always questioning his motives. But as the story progressed, he grew on me. :) I still wasn't sure what to think of him by the end of the book, but I had an inkling of an idea why Nora might be attracted to me. He was kind of sexy in his own way. I look forward to book 2.Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04013592464881717371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432990419928089943.post-56324343548484079492009-10-28T16:39:37.669-07:002009-10-28T16:39:37.669-07:00Hey Jac! I loved Twilight (which I COMPLETELY thought I would hate)...so it's possible that I'll love these as well. Either way it seems like a pretty easy/light read. Right now I"m reading some autobiographies...very interesting, but quite serious! I still feel so disappointed that I didn't like it more. But I have high hopes for the sequel! :0)Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05703297010445873719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4432990419928089943.post-59462521013079400072009-10-28T09:56:18.439-07:002009-10-28T09:56:18.439-07:00It is a sad, sad day when books dont live up to yo...It is a sad, sad day when books dont live up to your expectations. I do agree that Patch wasnt well developed, but I think thats why I liked him, he was so mysterious. But nonetheless, great review! I am glad that you were honest with us!

-ArielleBrianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04161712804034870637noreply@blogger.com
